While away in Texas, Jonathan and his dad tackled a huge and long desired project of mine to plant grass in our front yard. When we moved in we were too preoccupied with working on the inside of the house to do anything with the front yard, except mow the weeks. The following spring we were in the States, but now two years later it has finally happened! They removed some unwanted bushes and transplanted a couple others which really opened up the yard.
They had to turn the whole area by hand, remove the weeds and then seed it. From what I am told it took them about 5 hours to do the whole thing, obviously while still taking care of the kids.

Wow! what a transformation! It looks beautiful! Now, you are becoming a real Italian family.....balcony flowers and all! We love it!
Thank you, Jon and Tim!
Love to all.......
Thanks for posting the picture of the grass growing. Wow, the yard looks so different! Love the flowers on the balcony- a nice
sign that spring has arrived!
Love you!
How exciting!! We live in an area that is just not grass friendly. Bad soil, too much space and deer ready to have their way with it. It is sad - how can you have children play outside with no grass?
Your yard looks great! Enjoy! It was also fun to see the wedding pics. I have been checking your site, but not much for e-mailing lately. It was great to read your update letter.
Hadassah does have one section of her bangs that are barely 1/2 inch, but some of her other hair covers it up. Thankfully, it will grow back.
Catch up with you soon!
