Budding Artist

These are the latest free-hand drawings by Miss Emma.  I love that she is writing on her own in Italian without any help.  For her, she learned to read and write in Italian before English, and I think it comes more naturally to her to do both in Italian.  She is getting more and more confident with her reading each week and it is very exciting to see.

These drawings over the past couple of days, however, have really taken the cake.  But we are not biased parents or anything, right?!  We all agree though that she is now a better drawer than her dad.  Samuel might be jealous that Emma's pictures have been posted, so be looking for his with his radioactive warning signs that he knows you all want to see.  More to come...

Dear Memmies,

What wonderful pictures you drew! Gramma showed them to Dr. Pinar and my other friends at work and they can't believe how well you draw! Thank you for sharing them with us.

We love you, special girl!

We are SO impressed with your drawings, Emma. You draw such happy pictures and the expressions on their faces are so cute! They look like "Emma" smiles. Keep up the good work! We can't wait for the "radioactive warning signs" from Samuel. We'll be watching....
Loving you up in our hearts,
papa & nano
